We were thrilled to partner with creative studio Builders Club and the talented post-production team at Avenues to handle the comprehensive archival footage research for a powerful new Air Company commercial.
The project was envisioned as an emotive manifesto film designed to highlight Air Company as an innovative, cutting-edge force in the fight against global climate change. Their incredible technology (which is already being utilised by NASA) converts captured carbon emissions into carbon-negative products, and the film needed to reflect that groundbreaking, planet-scale solution. The creative concept presented their proprietary reactor with the same sleek style, architectural precision, and premium energy typically reserved for a flagship consumer tech campaign.
To bring this high-octane vision to life, we extensively explored visuals that felt raw and elemental, focusing on organic textures and macro landscapes that blurred the boundaries between the natural world and advanced laboratory science. We drew deep inspiration from molecular transformations, sourcing abstract, cinematic footage that visually bound together nature, scientific rigour, and unlimited human potential.
Collaborating closely with the editors at Avenues, we curated a specialised footage catalogue to ensure every clip aligned seamlessly with their intended script beats while sustaining the film’s rapid pacing. By selecting imagery that mirrored the kinetic momentum of an escalating chemical reaction, we built powerful visual tension, smoothly transitioning from microscopic scientific wonders to the grand scale of global human impact and climate awareness.
The fast-paced edit in the final film masterfully balances the sleek, high-tech reveal of the reactor with deeply emotive images of our world, and the stock footage we sourced helped to ground the modern, tech aesthetic in the soulful world-saving narrative.
