The concept was wonderfully eccentric. A mundane shopping trip to Coop Prix ends with a sloth being transported into a heavenly world of fruit and vegetables.
Before the Coop Prix sloth could make its debut, our studio had the pleasure of helping director Stian Smestad and the team at One Big Happy Family map out this surreal universe in the commercial treatment. Turning that specific blend of playful comedy and high-end visual fantasy into a cohesive pitch was a fun hurdle to overcome, particularly when the script specifics included a furry CGI animal having the time of its life.

In our visual research, we sourced references that blended playful surrealism with hyper-vibrant, macro food photography, building a world where a sloth could plausibly lose itself in a kaleidoscope of fresh produce. In the design we leaned into a bright, energetic visual language, with pages using the rich textures of oversized fruits and lush vegetable landscapes. Pairing this with clean, modern typography and a saturated colour palette, we let the vibrancy of our imagery pop in a mouth-watering way.
When the final spot for Coop Prix made its debut, it was an absolute visual delight. Stian delivered exactly the kind of inventive, energetic commercial he set out to make in the pitch, and the final film really captures the same playful energy as the initial treatment.
