DDB Paris charged House of the Dragon director Loni Peristere to bring Davidoff’s Cool Elixir to the screen through an epic fantasy adventure. His experience working on top shows, along with his co-founding of VFX company Zoic Studios made him the perfect man for the job.

As Loni dove into the project, we were very lucky to be brought on by Loveboat’s Greg Panteix to assist with its creative development. And what a uniquely challenging and wonderful experience researching, designing and presenting Loni’s vision proved to be.
Striking the right balance between high-concept, cinematic, awe-inspiring visuals, shimmering luxury and bold masculinity was key to tapping into the unique language of fragrance commercials.
This kind of campaign requires the kind of extensive world-building and art direction we love and we were grateful to be given the time and creative license to properly explore, experiment and get things just right. We believe a strong deck works just like a compelling story - you have to draw the audience in, feed their imagination and get them excited about where things might lead to next. The final treatment for this did exactly that, with Loni’s ambitious mind making sure it was packed full of exciting ideas, options and details.

We’re ecstatic to now see the campaign hit our screens. Kudos to the brand, creatives and realisation team. They have done a terrific job weaving a mysterious dream of majestic power and sensuality.
