We joined director Erik Kockum and the Snask team on a pilgrimage to worship at the temple of odd in their new campaign for Oddlygood, crafting a treatment that would perfectly capture a visual world built entirely around the bizarre. Fuelled by plant-based eccentricity, this was a project that was never meant to be subtle - it was about orchestrating a full-blown, joyful celebration of the delightfully absurd. As such, every one of our creative decisions needed to be guided by a shared desire to challenge industry conventions.

Throwing out the traditional rulebook, our team dived headfirst into the eccentric, sourcing an array of stylised commercial and artistic photography, as well as comedic visual references that would nail the concept’s deadpan timing. We explored surreal set design concepts, exaggerated props, and quirky character archetypes that seamlessly blurred the line between high art and cheeky humour. Whether it was a man sunbathing indoors, an owner dressed like their dog, or a woman face-planting cake; every script concept we explored was intended to up-end expected commercial narratives and spark hilarity.

Collaborating with creatives who actively encourage you to push past standard industry boundaries is always an absolute dream. The outcome was a fantastic, eye-catching series that invited everyone to step out of the ordinary and enthusiastically embrace their inner quirkiness. We had an absolute blast helping to shape this vision, and we loved how it championed individual weirdness. Check out the series and let us all rejoice in the odd in all of us. Hallelujah!
